I’m very excited to be able to share with you another fabulous local retreat at Ferns Hideaway.
The theme for our September weekend is Mindfulness in Daily Life and I truly hope you can join us.
14-16 September
Mindfulness is such a powerful tool and although it may seem to be a recent trend, it actually originated from Buddhist contemplative practices over 2500 years ago. Mindfulness training familiarises us with the nature of our minds, helping us to recognise more clearly what leads to suffering and what leads to happiness. There are many definitions of mindfulness but in essence it is ...
a clear, curious and present-moment awareness
of what is happening within us and around us,
from moment to moment. - Ellise Bialylew
Through out the weekend, we will learn a little more about the practice of mindfulness and simple tools and activities to take with us into our daily lives to live more mindfully.
