NO Excuses Keppel Island Retreat

This retreat is for anyone who has yearned to know more about living yoga.
Yoga is a way of life, not a physical practice. The poses are a tool for self discovery, for exploring the breath and finding stillness in our minds so that we learn more about ourselves.
This weekend will be an opportunity to discuss yoga philosophy, ways to incorporate yoga into your days without being upside down on your mat.
Bring this all together with the natural beauty of the Keppels, delicious healthy food and fabulous company and it will be a weekend of growth and self discovery.
There will be options for a half day cruise or some water sports .. but these will be at your own expense.
Our fabulous home for the weekend will be Keppel Lodge which is located on the esplanade on Fishermans Beach. It features four motel style rooms, each with their own en suite bathroom.
Which means we have a very small group this trip, just 11 beds available.
Each of the rooms sleep up to 4 people in queen and single beds and the rooms open up to a central spacious living area.
At the front of the lodge, sliding doors open up onto a furnished deck with views through the palm trees to the beach and outdoor area, where we will hold our yoga sessions.
The Lodge is located centrally to other island facilities, and is about a 5 minute walk to the Keppel Haven Bar / Bistro, Rainbow Hut, Island Pizza, Keppel Island Dive Centre and Water sports.
Swim and relax at a secluded beach, or explore the island's untouched natural beauty via the various bush walking tracks that cater for all ages and fitness levels.
The retreat will be fully catered, with healthy and delicious foods.
Everyone will be happily catered for, all you have to do is clearly let us know what you can and can’t eat.
The cost also includes return transfers to the island and all programmed activities.
What is not included is any drinks, you are welcome to BYO as we will have a full kitchen at our disposal.
You will also need to bring your own yoga mat and any props that are a normal part of your practice.

This weekend will be an opportunity to discuss yoga philosophy, ways to incorporate yoga into your days without being upside down on your mat.
Bring this all together with the natural beauty of the Arcadia Valley, delicious healthy food and fabulous company and it will be a weekend of growth and self discovery.
There will be options for bush walks, ancient rock art or farm tours .. but these will organised on arrival dependent on suitable conditions.
Nestled amongst the magnificent sandstone cliffs of the Carnarvon Ranges, Wallaroo
is a 72, 000 acre cattle property owned by your hosts, Pauline and Justin MacDonnell,
found approximately 160km north of Roma, towards the iconic Carnarvon Gorge.
Scattered in the retreat area are eight fabulous glamping tents. Wake up amongst the towering Eucalypts listening to the magical sounds of the bush in crisp white linen on real posture pedic beds. This is camping at its best! Enjoy a yarn, a glass of wine and some camp oven cooking around the rustic fire pit while spotting for rock wallabies against the cliffs
Each tent is furnished with rustic charm and with real beds. Slip between the crisp white sheets and snuggle down under the blankets after a hearty camp oven meal.
