Here at Body N Soul Yoga we aim to empower you to be the best version of yourself - mind, body & soul (which is where the name comes from!). We believe yoga is for everyone in every body.
We offer a variety of yoga classes and styles, meditation, breathwork and feature classes.
The studio is at 13 Murray Street (across from The Hall school). We have plenty of well-lit parking. The studio has heating, air conditioning, shower and toilet facilities. Please arrived early to your scheduled class - at least 10 minutes as classes start on time. The front door will be locked 5 minutes before class starts for safety and security. This gives everyone a chance to settle into silence and stillness before class (and leave on time). Please be mindful of others within studio.
Belongings can be left securely in the 'drop-zone'. You are welcome to leave your yoga mat and/or props behind in a pigeon-hole or on the wall for your next class within the drop-zone. During our yoga practice we ask and recommend that you please have you electronics (phones/smart watches etc.) on do-not-disturb/airplane mode so you aren't distracted in Savasana/meditation and can fully 'switch off' from everything going on outside (it's hard enough!).

Tracey
Tracey, the principal instructor at Body N Soul Yoga. Tracey began practising yoga in 2002 before going on to do her teacher training in 2012. How our bodies work and how to make them work efficiently and effectively is a keen interest of hers. Tracey's goal is to keep people safe in their yoga practice. As the founder of Body N Soul Yoga Tracey is deeply passionate about teaching you how to use yoga to find your inner strength, and connection to breath and peace. Penny
Penny loves a slow focused practice of mindful movement incorporating elements of Kundalini Yoga. She incorporates solid foundations and lots of space for breath. Penny is on hiatus at present, hopefully we will see her back soon! |
Megan Megan completed her training is 2020 in beautiful Portugal shortly before the Pandemic sent her home. Lucky for us! Megan has a background working in healthcare and was drawn to yoga as an antidote to working in a high stress environment. She got hooked and needed to share it with everybody else. Megan's training is in Yin and Hatha Yoga, and she teaches regular weeknight classes. Christine
Christine has trained in mindfulness and a variety of yoga styles but "loves her yin". Christines classes are a combination of a gentle flow and yin holds, ending in a long mindful meditation. These classes are on Sundays - please check the timetable to see when they are available. Candice
Candice is a qualified Meditation Teacher and Clinical Hypnotherapist who specialises in relaxation, self-compassion, heart centred practices and connection to self.
